Responded to warranty service call for 2-year-old AO Smith water heater. Installed customer-supplied warranty parts including gas control valve, wiring, and burner assembly. After installation, unit would light pilot but flame would extinguish when igniter was released. Contacted supervisor regarding further warranty options for the unit.
