High Humidity is not good for your Home

During the summer you will notice an increase in humidity in the air outside. But you may also start to notice higher humidity in the air in your home as well. This can lead to further issues in the long run if you do not try and reduce the humidity now. You may notice that the air is more difficult to breathe in. If you have allergies or asthma, the high humidity can actually make those symptoms worse. If anyone in your home is sick, make sure to have the air adjust so the humidity is low. You will want to adjust the humidity in your home so that your furniture can stay in the best condition possible. Anything made out of wood can start to warp. Also the humidity can bring more moisture in the air, and cause mold and mildew to start growing. If your notice any odd smells, this can also be an indication of it as well.
