CARRIER products

Serving the Greater Rochester Area and the Twin Cities since 1988

In 1902, Willis Carrier, a young research engineer, invented the first modern air-conditioning system by using water to remove moisture from the air. This invention marked the beginning of an industry that would have a significant impact on global productivity and personal comfort. Carrier’s system consisted of fans, chilled coils, and ducts to regulate air temperature and maintain constant humidity. He was granted a patent for his design in 1904 and went on to establish the Carrier Engineering Corporation in 1915, launching his company and setting the foundation for the air conditioning industry.

Carrier’s HVAC equipment line includes a range of furnaces and air conditioners designed for residential and commercial use. The Infinity series offers high-end, energy-efficient models that incorporate advanced technologies, such as variable-speed motors, zoning systems, and smart thermostats. The Performance series provides a range of options for energy-efficient heating and cooling, with features like two-stage compressors, humidity control, and sound reduction technology. The Comfort series offers reliable, cost-effective options for basic heating and cooling needs. Carrier also offers hybrid heat systems, which combine a gas furnace with an electric heat pump, for optimal energy efficiency in cold climates. Overall, Carrier’s HVAC equipment line provides a range of options to meet the diverse needs of customers seeking reliable and efficient heating and cooling solutions.
